Day 7 of Lockdown

Kuwait Lockdown Day 7

Day 7 of 20!

Day 7…………….so that’s 1 week completed of Lockdown in Kuwait, we’re almost half way through 😊. We do hope our ideas are helping keep you and the household entertained, and if you have any suggestions, please do share them with us, we’re all ears! In the meantime, here’s our next 5 to keep you busy.

Go on a Social Media cleanse

Ok, we know it wont be easy, but you can do it……remember the days before mobile phones and internet (yep, we’re that old, we do)? Lets try to recreate those long summer holidays where there was only a couple of hours of children’s television, and if you’re like us, from England, rain for the 6 weeks holiday! We kept busy, so I’m sure we can do it again without our phones and internet…..

Stream The Globe’s Shakespeare productions for free

The latest London theatre to step up to the plate with free high-quality content is Shakespeare’s Globe. The iconic Elizabethan-style playhouse already had its own public streaming platform in the form of Globe Player, but watching it was quite expensive, with productions rented or purchased at individual prices that usually exceed a month’s full access to many TV streaming platforms. Well guess what, that’s all changed. Now, every fortnight you can watch a full English-language Shakespeare play for free, just click [here] and enjoy.

Take a virtual trip to Mars

Thanks to NASA, we can now get to know the Red Planet a little better. Is it possible to switch planets yet? Well take a look for yourself, because, as you may have noticed life on Earth has gotten a little surreal lately/ Here’s what you’d be signing up for if you picked Mars……Take me to Mars

Make those weird dreams into a short film

Its possible you’re dreaming more than before, mainly due to sleeping when you’d usually be commuting, allowing our dreams to unfold as our REM sleep increases, why not make those dreams into a short film? Go on….you know it’ll be pretty trippy, and actually quite cool to look back on a year from now.

Break a Guinness World Record every week

Spending time indoors doesn’t mean you have to be bored. In fact, with the extra time, you can aspire to do great things, including becoming a Guinness World Records title holder with the new #GWRchallenge! Fancy your chances? Then just click [Here]

So which of those, (if not all) will you choose to do? We do quite fancy ourselves as a Guinness Record Holder, but as for the social media cleanse, it would be challenging, afterall, how would we research to keep you entertained? And as always, please do stay home and save lives, until tomorrow, love us at LivinQ8
