Not your normal typical flat desert, but one with a natural escarpment of rocks and hills. One can do so much in Mutlaa Ridge, from great mountain biking, 4×4 driving, having a BBQ with friends and even quad biking. Be careful as unfortunately sometimes people can get carried away and accidents can happen. When the weather gets pleasant the area gets busy so if you wanting to have a BBQ go early to get a good spot.
Mutlaa Ridge is situated After the junction of the 80 and 6th Ring Road go north on the Subihiya Motorway. Take the first roundabout left (3rd exit). Once on that small road, take any turning off to the right to access a popular part of the ridge either at the bottom or once at the top.
